My beautiful grandmother, Virginia — lovingly known as Ginny — is where it all began. Although she passed away when I was just eight years old, her legacy has shaped my life in countless ways. I may not have had the chance to learn beside her in the kitchen, but she taught my mother, and my mother taught me. Through them, her love of baking lives on.

Some of my sweetest childhood memories are of visiting her home, where something delicious was always baking in the oven or waiting on the counter. The kitchen was her heart, and it quickly became mine too. I know without a doubt that my passion for baking was inspired by her warmth, generosity, and the joy she found in sharing homemade treats with the people she loved.

I often wish she could see how far this dream has come. I like to think she would be proud — encouraging me, guiding me, and cheering me on every step of the way. In her honor, I pour my heart into every recipe, continuing the tradition she started.
